Whether you are a screenwriter or television writer, the ability to create compelling, unforgettable characters is key. Ultimately, it is the recognizable yet surprising and unique character that draws in script readers, producers and audience members. Through a combination of in-class exercises, lectures, television/movie watching, and writing assignments, learn how to create detailed, compelling characters.
This course may be used to fulfill the requirements of the Certificate in Writing and Producing for Film and Television. It may be taken to pursue the certificate, or as a standalone course.
